I grew up in Wisconsin near Milwaukee area. I loved to play sports when I was in high school, I participated in tennis, gymnastics and soccer. That love for sports continued where I played D3 Tennis at UWRF. I am a nontraditional ag teacher meaning that I did not grow up on a farm I grew up in the city. I first got started in agriculutre when I joined FFA and started milking cows in high school. I gratduated from the University of Wisconsin River Falls with a degree in Agricultural Education. During my time in college I joined the Wisconsin Army National Guard as a Wheeled Vehical Mechanic and just recently finished my time with the guard. I learned many life lessons along with great knowledge about engines while in the army and am glad to have been appart of something this great. I also help out with the Tennis team here at Maple River, so you will see me around :)
