It is so hard to believe that we are into our last three months of school.  The year is going so quickly, and before we know it Spring will be here and we will be looking forward to warmer summer months.  There are still so many things that we need to do and learn!

March will bring about changes in the weather from day to day!  Please make sure your child still has boots, a heavy coat, and even snow pants as we muddle through the wet, damp weather of spring thaw and then get dumped on with our next winter snowstorm!  It is so unpredictable!  Students will continue to wear boots and snow pants just for the purpose of helping stay clean and dry.

Spring also brings about the final push toward MCA review and preparation.  Please encourage your child to use Study Island for reading and math review.  I would especially encourage parents to sit down with your child to go through some of the reading objectives.  They include in-depth thinking, and it is very helpful to have a discussion about what the right answer should be.  We will continue to use the Kids A-Z website for additional spelling practice at home.  I think students are becoming more comfortable with the new format!

I greatly appreciate your willingness to connect with me on a regular basis through email or text messaging.  Each week, you should receive a classroom newsletter, but please do not hesitate to contact me via email or Remind app with questions or concerns.
