Today our students in grades 3-5 participated in the Jump for Heart fundraiser and raised $6,219 for the Amercian Heart Association!  That is AMAZING and we greatly appreciate the support we have from our families and all that contributed to this effort!

Hard to believe that we have already had our first SNOW DAY!  It is Minnesota, after all!  Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for any situation.  We try to go outside for recess as long as the temperatures are above zero!  Unfortunately, I've even found myself reminding individuals at the end of the day to take their coats of of their backpack and put them on as they line up for the bus!

Students need to score something for AM each day.  Many students are able to do this during the regular school day, but if you see assignments coming home that are several days old from original print date, they are falling behind and need to spend extra time at home completing AM assignments!  Some students have recently transitioned from paper/pencil AM practice assignments to online work.  Please let me know if you have questions or concerns by sending me a text message or email.  We will continue to work on AM tests with paper/pencil assignments.  AR Goal Period #3 has started and will continue through Friday, February 21st.  We already have students more than half way to their goal and a couple that have even made their goal already!!  Great job, 4th graders!
