• Welcome to Maple River High School!!

My name is Mrs. Isaacson and I am looking forward to a great year at Maple River High School! This will be my fourth year teaching at Maple River. This year I will be teaching Chemistry, Physics, Forensics, Forensics 8, and STEM.

I graduated High School in 2007 from Westbrook-Walnut Grove High School, where I participated in Cheerleading, Hockey (with the Windom Eagles), all Drama Productions and competitions, Choir (Soprano), and Band (Clarinet and Oboe). I earned my Bachelor’s of Arts in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota in Morris, MN. While in college, I also participated in Concert Choir, where I was a Soprano voice, section leader, and student manager. I also participated in undergraduate research in the Chemistry department working on theoretical models of Acetic Acid dimers, a research experience that resulted in numerous national presentations and Journal of Physical Chemistry publications.

Outside of school, I enjoy gardening, shooting archery, and playing with my dog Bailey.

I am really looking forward to having a great school year!! Go Eagles!!
